Discmania Sky Walker Horizon FD1 (Casey White)
1
The Discmania Sky Walker Horizon FD1 is Casey White's signature fairway driver, molded in Horizon plastic and built to fly straighter with more glide than the FD2 it is often compared to.
Flight Numbers: 7 / 4 / 0 / 2
Horizon is one of Discmania's grippier premium blends, similar in feel to their C-Line plastic, and it holds up well in wet weather without going slick. The enhanced grip lets you commit to a full power release without worrying about a slip on a rainy round.
Thrown flat and backhand it holds a straight line and finishes left without ever hyzering out on you, which makes it a strong complement to a more understable fairway driver in the bag. Forehand throwers get the same predictable finish, holding torque well even on shots inside 250 feet, and it's common for it to get grabbed on a whim as a tournament backup and then stay in the bag for good. Good for players who want a fairway driver that teaches clean release angles, since it will show you exactly what your hyzer or anhyzer did wrong.
