13 Badass Female Disc Golfers To Follow In 2026

by Mandy Lee

When you look at the gender divide in disc golf, female players are still underrepresented. Women make up a growing but small fraction of the professional player population. The good news? The sport has come a long way, and each year, more women are competing at higher levels, landing bigger sponsorship deals, and getting the media coverage they deserve.

The FPO division has never been more competitive. Prize purses are growing, international players are dominating, and the depth of talent goes well beyond the top five. An added bonus of this growth: disc golf lists like these keep getting harder to narrow down. Looking for related gear? Check out Disc Golf Etiquette.

In no particular order, let's get into our favorite female disc golf pros who absolutely crush it on the course!

13 Badass Female Disc Golfers

1. Paige Pierce

Paige Pierce Walking at Disc Golf Tournament

Paige Pierce is the most decorated player in FPO history. A five-time World Champion (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021), she has been the standard-bearer for women's disc golf for over a decade. Born in Plano, TX, she has played disc golf since the age of 4 and went pro in 2009.

Paige's signature style combines a slow walk-up with an explosive and powerful swing. She's super detailed about her technique and focuses on building muscle memory for slight changes. Her top three tips for beginners: "Stick to your game, don't throw what everybody else is throwing, and don't aim for the basket; aim for the ground."

After a quieter 2023 and 2024 by her standards, Pierce showed signs of a resurgence in 2025. At 35 years old, she remains a threat to win any tournament she enters. She is also a strong advocate for improving conditions for women's divisions in the PDGA.

Paige's two favorite discs are the Rubber Blend Fierce and her ESP Passion.

2. Catrina Allen

Catrina Allen is a two-time World Champion and one of the most consistent competitors the FPO division has ever seen. With 181 career wins across 444 events and a current PDGA rating around 958, she's been a fixture at the top of the sport for over a decade.

Before disc golf, Catrina was a bartender and got into the game through a friend. She took to disc golf quickly, and as an amateur, she was initially sponsored by DGA. In 2011, she went pro and never looked back. Her steady grind of "Wake up, gym, fieldwork, and putting" has clearly paid off.

Catrina has five Las Vegas Challenge wins (tying Juliana Korver for the most FPO wins at that event) and is currently sponsored by DGA. She remains one of the most respected and beloved players in the game.

3. Kristin Lätt (formerly Tattar)

Kristin Lätt (she changed her name after marrying Silver Lätt in August 2024) is the most dominant international player in FPO history. Sponsored by Latitude 64, she became the first woman in disc golf to reach a 1000 PDGA rating in 2024.

From Estonia, she started playing in 2014 and won her first Major title at the USWDGC just five years later. Then she went on an absolute tear: five consecutive Major titles starting at the 2022 World Championships. In 2023, she completed the Grand Slam (all four majors in one calendar year), the first woman ever to do so. That streak was finally broken by Missy Gannon at the 2024 USWDGC.

She is an incredible competitive player to watch. She admittedly doesn't throw full force at competitions, which is crazy to think about. In September 2025, Kristin announced she will not return to tour in 2026, leaving the future of her competitive career uncertain. Regardless, her legacy as one of the greatest to ever play is secure. Kristin also has a daughter she hopes to bring to future tournaments to inspire her to dream big!

4. Keiti Tätte

Another Estonian on our list, Keiti has been making waves on the European circuit. She won the 2021 Estonian Championships, the Estonian Pro Tour in 2020 and 2021, and the Baltic Disc Golf Championships in 2019 and 2021. She has continued competing at a high level through 2025.

She is a significant contender that is definitely worth keeping an eye on! She's a massively smooth player who has been able to hold her own against fellow Estonian Kristin Lätt.

Keiti favors straight tunnel shots and anhyzer putter shots and is currently sponsored by Latitude 64. She's a self-proclaimed disc golf addict and pushes herself with "the soul of an athlete."

Just for fun: she once threw an effortless, jaw-dropping 426-foot ace that went viral in the disc golf community.

5. Eveliina Salonen

Hailing from Finland, Eveliina Salonen has proven herself as one of the best players on the planet. Sponsored by Innova, she became the first Finn to win the FPO World Championship in 2024. She followed that up in 2025 by winning the US Women's Championship (her 4th career major), the European Championship, and the PCS Open. She has 57 career wins across 147 events with a current PDGA rating of 982.

She started playing disc golf at the age of 12 and has quickly established herself in the professional world with her determined attitude and killer sidearm throws. She considers versatility to be her biggest strength.

Eveliina is encouraged by the number of women in disc golf, especially in Finland, where disc golf is gaining significant traction. In her free time, she likes to stay active with floorball and golf (ball golf, that is). She used to play ice hockey, soccer, and motocross when she was younger. What can't she do?!

6. Henna Blomroos

If you've heard of Eveliina Salonen, then you've gotta be following her bestie and competitive rival Henna Blomroos. The 2021 European Disc Golf Champion is also sponsored by Innova and continues to be a force on the international stage.

Her three favorite discs are the Star Destroyer for max distance, Roc3 for shot shaping, and the Classic Aviar for putting. We've been seeing a lot more of her competing at DGPT events in the US, thanks to the tour's European expansion.

Henna's form is killer, and she's able to get a ludicrous amount of distance, making her one of our favorite female disc golf pros in the game.

7. Missy Gannon

Missy Gannon has been on a tear since 2024. The Discraft Elite Team member won five DGPT Elite Series events in 2024, claimed her first PDGA Major at the 2024 USWDGC (ending Kristin Lätt's five-Major streak), and won the DGPT Championship title. She kept it going in 2025 by winning the Champions Cup (her second major). She's surpassed $300,000 in career earnings and signed a two-year extension with Discraft through 2027.

Like many of the stars on our list, she has an athletic background. She played volleyball, basketball, and softball growing up. Missy is also an ambassador for Uplay, a non-profit that promotes health and well-being in communities through educational disc golf programs!

Her tagline, "Missy Don't Miss," has never been more accurate. She's firmly established herself as one of the top three players in the world, and 2026 is looking like another big year for the Gannon Cannon.

8. Ohn Scoggins

Ohn Scoggins made history in 2025 by winning the FPO World Championship at Nokia, Finland. She's the oldest player to ever claim the FPO World title and the first to win both FP40 and FPO Worlds in the same season.

The way she won was unforgettable. She started the final round four strokes off the lead and was still one stroke behind with just one hole to play. She birdied hole 18 to force the first FPO playoff in PDGA Pro Worlds history against Finland's Iida Lehtomäki. In the playoff, Lehtomäki laid up from about 20 meters, leaving Scoggins with a Circle 1 putt for the win. She nailed it dead center.

Sponsored by Innova, Scoggins led the field at Worlds in C1X putting at 92% (48/52). Her consistency and clutch putting have made her one of the most dangerous players in high-pressure situations.

9. Kona Montgomery

Kona Montgomery (formerly Kona Panis) made waves early in her career with a 4-year, $500K deal with Dynamic Discs at the start of 2022. That contract was a big deal for the women's division and showed that top FPO players could command real sponsorship dollars. Related: 11 Best Disc Golf Discs.

She departed Dynamic Discs a year early and moved to Innova for 2025, returning to the brand where many top players call home. Her 2025 Tour Series disc is an Innova Star Mako3.

Kona is a super consistent player with significant distance, and she advocates for growing the sport through youth disc golf and her strong social media presence. She's also well known for her off-season work ethic, and we expect big things from her in 2026.

10. Ella Hansen

Ella Hansen has gone from "one to watch" to legitimate contender. Signed to Team Discmania's Sky Team (elevated in January 2025), she's a naturally talented athlete from her Ultimate Frisbee background at the University of Oregon who first picked up a disc golf disc in 2019.

In just a few years, Ella won her first DGPT Elite Series event at the 2024 OTB Open and finished 3rd at the 2025 World Championships. She's proven she belongs on the biggest stages in the sport and is knocking on the door of her first major title.

Did you see her massive 550-foot roller from the 2021 Portland Open?

Curious about her nickname "One Throw Ella"? It refers to her ability to throw a disc and nail a teammate in the end zone with one throw during her Ultimate days. She was a Callahan Award finalist, a prestigious MVP award given to one male and female player in the USA Ultimate collegiate division.

11. Juliana Korver

When it comes to professional female disc golf players, 5-time World Champion and Disc Golf Hall of Famer Juliana Korver is an established, inspirational figure who deserves a spot on any list of FPO legends. Now competing for Innova, she's still active on tour and brings a wealth of experience that makes her an incredible mentor to the newcomers.

When it comes to disc golf, women like Juliana Korver, who constantly evolve through the years, prove that there is staying power in developing your game! You can catch her talking a lot about her process, goal-setting, mindset, and mental health, which we admire. Here's her sharing "Wisdom after 10 World Championships" with Paige Pierce.

12. Hailey King

Hailey King has continued to establish herself as one of the top FPO players on tour. She was previously sponsored by Discraft before signing with Innova at the start of 2022. Since then, she's been a consistent presence on lead and chase cards at DGPT events.

Check out her Hailey King Halo Star Mako3 and help support Hailey on tour!

Fun fact: when she started playing disc golf with her dad in Wisconsin, she took to forearm throws like a duck to water and later developed her backhand. She was the youngest competitor to win the PDGA National Tour Series title at the age of 19, and her effortless and powerful throws caught the eye of Innova founder Dave Dunipace, who has said Hailey "plays like a warrior out there."

13. Holyn Handley

Holyn Handley throwing a disc at a tournament

Holyn Handley might have the wildest origin story on this list. She has a biomedical engineering degree from UT Dallas, where she was a D3 volleyball standout (back-to-back conference championships in 2015 and 2016). After graduating, she worked as a process engineer at a medical device company in California. She picked up disc golf as a casual hobby with her boyfriend and had never thrown a disc before. Within a couple of years, she was beating local pros.

Fast forward to 2025, and Handley had the best season in FPO history by just about any measure. She won five DGPT events, claimed the DGPT Championship title, won the Match Play Championship, and became the first FPO DGPT Points Champion. She set the FPO single-season earnings record at $111,308 and was named 2025 DGPT Elaine King Player of the Year.

Sponsored by Discraft, Handley's PDGA rating sits at 986, and she has 36 career wins with over $275,000 in career earnings. Her 2024 season was the appetizer: three DGPT wins including Ledgestone (by seven strokes) and the Great Lakes Open. She also opened the 2024 World Championships with a 10-under, 1034-rated first round.

From zero disc golf experience to Player of the Year in roughly six years. That's not a typo. Keep your eye on Holyn Handley in 2026.
