Neutron plastic is grippy and smooth in the hand, comfortable on both forehand and backhand releases. A fresh Ascend can fly a little more stable than the numbers suggest until it gets some rounds on it, and it fights out of an anhyzer line harder than expected early on, so give it a few throws before judging the turn.

Thrown flat it holds a level line with a short, gentle fade at the end, and once it settles in it does a very clean anhyzer with real glide. On a hyzer flip it will bomb out and hold a long, controlled turnover, which is the shot this driver gets bought for most often.
