Lone Star Discs Alpha Artemis
The Lone Star Discs Alpha Artemis is an overstable putt and approach disc with a shallow, beadless rim, molded in Lone Star's firm Alpha plastic. It is a tighter, shallower feeling disc than a lot of approach putters, built for players who want a fade they can count on.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 4 / 0 / 2
Alpha plastic is firm and durable, close in feel to a premium base blend, with enough grip to hold a spin putt release without going slick in your hand. It resists denting and holds its overstable fade for a long time before it starts to soften up.
Thrown flat it flies with control and finishes with a solid fade rather than fighting the line the whole way down, and it holds an anhyzer angle well for tucked approach shots. It is stable enough to handle a firm forehand into the wind without turning over, and beginners can throw it hard without worrying about an early flip. Advanced players like it as a smaller, tighter feeling alternative to a standard approach disc.
Want a softer plastic in the same mold? The Bravo Artemis trades some firmness for extra grip. Need it visible after dark? The Glow Artemis carries the same flight in a glow blend. See the rest of the Artemis lineup here.
