MVP Neutron Detour (James Conrad Team Series)
3
The MVP Detour in Neutron plastic is James Conrad's Team Series understable midrange, built to sit between the Axiom Hex and MVP Uplink in stability.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -2 / 1
Neutron grips well in most conditions and holds up to years of use without cracking, and on this mold it takes a short beat-in period before the turn opens into the long, panning line Conrad likes to throw.
With power and a little hyzer it flips flat and glides for most of the flight before a gentle fade that lands almost flat, and on a straight, flat release it holds a laser-straight line with just a touch of finish. More advanced throwers can open it up into a roller or a sky anhyzer, while newer players get an easy, controllable straight flight for learning the game.
Especially good in tight, short fairways where accuracy matters more than raw distance, and for anyone who wants to carry only one or two mids instead of a whole bag full.
