Discmania Zeta's Moon Special Blend S-Line CD1 (Colten Montgomery)
1
The Discmania Zeta's Moon Special Blend S-Line CD1 carries Colten Montgomery's signature stamp on a stable control driver that flies like a well seasoned PD, glidey and easy to shape either way you release it. It is the kind of disc that could carry a whole round on its own if it had to.
Flight Numbers: 9 / 5 / -1 / 2
This Special Blend S-Line breaks in fast and runs a good bit less overstable than the standard C-Line version of this mold, flying closer to a seasoned Dynasty or Undertaker right out of the box. It grips well and gets flippier as it wears, which makes it a natural pick for hyzer flips and tailwind shots once it has a few rounds on it.
Thrown flat it turns over and holds that line for most of the flight before a subtle, controlled fade closes it out, and on anhyzer it holds the angle without burning over. It is an easy tunnel shot disc and a great touch forehand option when you need a little turn without going all the way to a roller. A beginner or less powerful arm gets a forgiving first distance driver here, while advanced players lean on it for accuracy and shot shaping over raw power, best in calm weather or a tailwind rather than fighting a headwind.
Want the firmer, more overstable version of this mold? The C-Line CD1 holds up stiffer under heavy power. Like a fun stamp on the same flight? The C-Line CD1 Crush Boys keeps the same versatile control. Browse the rest of the CD1 collection.
