Prodigy A3 750 (Luke Humphries Tour Series)
The Prodigy A3 750 in this Luke Humphries Tour Series stamp is an overstable putter built for approach shots that will not turn over no matter how hard you rip them. In 750 plastic it holds that overstability for a long time, breaking in into what one bag calls a laser beam rather than going soft.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 4 / 0 / 3
750 is Prodigy's premium, slightly gummy plastic, grippy in the hand for both forehand and backhand approach releases. It resists wear well and keeps a firm, dependable feel through a lot of use, closer to a domey champion-style plastic than a flat premium blend.
Thrown at full power on anhyzer it will not flip over, and it crashes to the ground hard once it loses speed rather than skipping past the target. On approach shots inside 150 feet it holds a hyzer line and finishes with a strong, predictable fade every time.
Good for intermediate and advanced players who need a beefy overstable disc for windy upshots and forced flex shots. New players will find it too much disc for a primary putter, better used as a specialty approach tool.
Want the same mold in a softer plastic? The Prodigy 300 A3 grips better in cold weather. Prefer a middle ground? The Prodigy 400 A3 beats in a little faster. Browse our overstable putters.
