Z FLX bends more readily in the hand than standard Elite Z, which makes for a comfortable grip on both forehand and backhand releases without giving up Z's durability or see through color. It is flat and beadless, built to dive left and finish with heavy, dependable fade even into a headwind, which makes it a strong utility disc for approach shots under 250 feet and spiking a hyzer close to the basket. Glide is low on purpose, so it will not skip past your landing spot the way a glidier midrange can. This is a disc for intermediate and advanced players who already know they want more fade than a Zone gives them; a beginner will likely find it too demanding for everyday use.
