The Clash Discs Steady Fudge (Prototype) is a stable putt and approach disc, a beaded putter built with a comfortable flat shoulder that plays like an early answer to the Aviar and Wizard style putters.

Steady plastic feels smooth and a little creamy in the hand, closer to a premium blend than a baseline putter plastic, and it grips well for both a putting grip and a forehand approach release. As a prototype run it has not been widely stocked, so the plastic feel is one of the first things players notice compared to a mass production putter.

Fresh releases tend to fly straight to stable with a fade that kicks in a little later than expected, more dumpy than a purely straight putter, so it holds a shallow hyzer well before fading hard at the end. After a season of practice putts it starts to flip up slightly, opening the door to a gentle hyzer flip that was not there out of the box. That zero turn holds up under real torque, which is why it works as a driving putter for backhand and forehand approach shots that need to resist getting knocked off line.
