The Innova TL is a stable fairway driver at 7 speed, 5 glide, -1 turn, and 1 fade, built as a slightly straighter cousin to the TeeBird with a touch less end-of-flight fade. That small difference is an advantage on tight fairway drives where you want the disc to hold rather than snap left, though it gives up a little bite when you actually need fade to finish a hole.
Grip stays comfortable through a full round of backhands, and the flight is straight enough that new players learn a clean release without the disc punishing small mistakes.
