Prodigy M3 400
The Prodigy M3 in 400 plastic is a stable midrange, and 400 is the plastic most Prodigy throwers are holding when they call this mold their favorite mid-range disc.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -1 / 2
400 is Prodigy's grippy workhorse blend. It has a slight dome out of the box and takes a season or two to flatten out and get glidier, but it never loses its stability the way some base plastics do. It holds up to tree hits and cold rounds without going slick, and the grip only improves as it wears in.
Thrown flat the M3 goes dead straight with a soft, dependable fade at the end, and it flies about the same into a headwind as it does with one at your back. On a hyzer it holds the line instead of finishing early, which makes it a solid upshot disc from 200 feet and in. New players get a midrange that does not surprise them, and bigger arms use it on a tight tunnel shot when a Buzzz or Roc would turn over.
