The Prodigy 500 F7 is a very understable fairway driver molded in Prodigy's 500 blend, a stiffer, pearlescent plastic built for confident grip rather than raw durability. Prodigy updated the F7's stamped numbers in 2023 to better match how it actually flies, but the mold itself never changed.

500 plastic runs firmer than Prodigy's softer lines, with just enough flex to keep the flight plate from feeling brittle on cold mornings. It holds its snap for a long time before going truly flippy, and the pearlescent finish makes it easy to spot in the rough.

Thrown flat with real snap it turns right and holds that turn with plenty of glide before settling into a straight finish with a soft forward fade. On a moderate hyzer it flips up to flat and rides out gently instead of burning over, good for 325 to 350 feet once you trust the release.

This is a strong first fairway driver for a beginner, since the low speed number means you do not need a big arm to get the full turn, and it doubles as a turnover or roller option for an intermediate player. Best shot: a wide open hyzer flip where you want the disc to flatten out and hold.
