Discraft Z Nuke SS
The Discraft Nuke SS in Z Line plastic is the straighter-flying version of one of the most popular distance drivers ever made, still carrying the same ultra-wide 2.5 cm rim as the standard Nuke but tuned to hold speed 13 with more stability.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 5 / -1 / 3
Z Line is Discraft's most durable plastic, firm out of the box and built to keep this disc's flight consistent through years of play. It grips well in most conditions and will not go soft or turn neutral the way base plastic eventually does.
The wide rim takes some getting used to if you have not thrown a Nuke before, and it is a multi-level disc that suits a lot of different throwing styles once the grip clicks. On a flat release it holds speed for a long stretch before a strong fade closes it out, and it stays more honest in the wind than a standard Nuke thanks to the SS tuning. Big arms get real distance, and forehand throwers use it as a dependable meathook.
Want the same flight in a different colorway? The Z Fly Dye Nuke SS shares this exact mold and numbers. Looking for a lighter build to work up to this one? The Z Lite Nuke is easier to turn over. Browse the full Nuke SS collection.
