Discraft Z Lite Nuke
1
The Discraft Z Lite Nuke is an overstable distance driver built for strong arms, molded in Z Lite, a lighter version of Discraft's hard Z plastic wrapped around a 2.5 cm rim.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 5 / -1 / 3
Z Lite keeps the stiffness and durability of standard Z plastic while shaving weight off the disc, which makes it easier to throw fast without adding stress on the arm over a long round. It holds this disc's fade well over time, since Z-family plastics do not soften up as quickly as ESP.
The wide rim and 13 speed rating mean it needs real arm speed to open up, and once it does, it fades hard and predictably against wind rather than turning over. In calm conditions it holds a straight, tall flight before finishing its fade late.
Good for experienced players who already generate enough speed to get a 13 speed driver to open up. This is not a beginner's pick, since a slower arm will see the disc fade out early without covering much distance.
