Discraft X-Line Buzzz
1
The Discraft X-Line Buzzz is the budget version of the most thrown midrange in disc golf, a stable disc that holds any line you put it on without demanding a premium price. X Line keeps the cost down while still giving you the same flight the Buzzz is famous for.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / -1 / 1
X Line plastic grips well even when wet, though it will not hold up to years of tree strikes the way ESP or Z does. It is a good starting point for learning the Buzzz before deciding which premium blend is the right fit, since the flight itself does not change between plastics.
On a flat release it tracks straight through most of the flight before a soft fade closes it out, and it holds a hyzer line into the ground just as easily as it holds a wide anhyzer angle. Slow it down under 150 feet and it works as a stubby, slightly overstable upshot disc, while a full power throw still covers real distance for a 5 speed. It genuinely works for anyone: new players see exactly what a clean release looks like because nothing about this flight hides mistakes, and advanced players keep one as the disc they measure every other midrange against. Forehand throwers like the shallow, beadless rim as much as backhand throwers do.
Want the same flight in a plastic built to last? Try the ESP Buzzz. Need it to hold up longer and stay slightly more overstable? The Z Buzzz is the natural upgrade. See every version in the Buzzz collection.
