Discraft Putter Line Zone
1
The Discraft Putter Line Zone is the same overstable putt and approach disc that shows up in tour bags everywhere, pressed in Discraft's affordable, grippy baseline plastic. It is the cheapest way onto the Zone's flight, and it is common to keep one in the bag permanently as a beater.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 3 / 0 / 3
Putter Line plastic is soft, tacky, and not built for a long life against trees and rocks, but that trade off buys grip in the rain and cold that a stiffer premium blend cannot match. It beats in quickly, so this disc reaches its comfortable, worn in feel faster than an ESP or Z Zone will.
The flight is the same reliable Zone line: flat backhand releases stay flat before a firm fade, hyzer releases hold their angle, and forehand flicks come out torque resistant instead of spinning away. That makes it a strong choice for a second Zone to keep in a bag pocket for practice or a wet round where a premium disc feels risky to lose. It is also a low cost way for a new player to learn what an overstable approach disc should feel like before committing to a pricier plastic.
Want a beater that lasts a lot longer? Try the Z Zone. Want the tournament grade version of this exact flight? The ESP Zone is the one most advanced players carry. See the rest of our overstable putters.
