Discraft Big Z Buzzz
16
The Discraft Big Z Buzzz is the original three-Z Buzzz in Discraft's toughest widely available blend, the same stable midrange more bags carry than any other disc in the sport.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / -1 / 1
Big Z is a step up in stiffness and grip from base Elite Z, closer to Z Line in feel but priced lower, and it takes a serious beating from trees without chunking. It beats in slowly, so a fresh Big Z Buzzz starts life a hair overstable and settles into the dead-straight numbers over a season of real play.
From about 150 to 250 feet is the range where it does its best work: thrown flat it holds a straight line with only a subtle fade at the very end, and on a hyzer or anhyzer it holds whatever angle you put it on without drama. Inside 150 feet it turns into an overstable, floaty upshot disc that skips less than a putter but more than a fairway driver.
Power throwers hold it dead flat for a tunnel shot with total confidence, and slower arms still get the full straight flight without needing to overthrow it. It is a fair complement to a Wasp or a Zone, not a replacement, since it is neutral where those two are built to fade.
Bag it next to: the ESP Buzzz if you want a grippier premium feel for the same flight, or the Z Buzzz for a slightly stiffer, longer-lasting run. See every Buzzz plastic in the Buzzz collection.
